HACEN aims to be a capable center in applied research, training, technology transfer and international cooperation in the field of high-tech agriculture, forestry and sustainable development.

To bring advanced technologies in agriculture and forestry to farmers, extension workers and students in Vietnam and countries in the regions.

The HACEN Center is taking its first steps towards establishing a new Research and Development (R&D) Institute. HACEN Center is a public Science and Technology (S&T) organization under the University of Agriculture and Forestry – Thai Nguyen. The Center’s mission is to apply advanced technology in alignment with industry and sustainable economic development.
HACEN aims to become a leader in providing high-tech solutions in the agriculture and forestry sectors of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous Region. This means that R&D activities will bridge the gap between technological needs and practical solutions for businesses in the market. HACEN will leverage its full potential to help the agricultural sector enhance its capacity to adopt new technologies, integrate into and transition toward global value chains with higher added value to remain competitive. In doing so, HACEN can play a pivotal role in driving industrialization and preparing for Industry 4.0.
