Main objectives:
Outcome 1: Improved understanding of the current agricultural waste management in rural areas of Thai Nguyen province.
Activity 1.1: Conduct literature review and a field survey on the current situation of agricultural waste treatment in some selected communes and districts of Thai Nguyen province.
Outcome 2: Improved awareness and capacity of rural farming households and related stakeholders in circular agricultural practices.
Activity 2.1: Establish some demo-plots on farmyard manure treatment, compost and vermicompost production, and vegetable production using compost/vermicompost.
Activity 2.2: Design community outreach (communication) materials and training materials
Activity 2.3: Conduct community outreach events for raised awareness on circular agriculture.
Activity 2.4: Organize training classes for farmers and extension workers on agricultural waste treatment methods and practices.
Activity 2.5: Organize field visits to the demo-plots for improved awareness, practical training and shared learning among local farmers.
Activity 2.6: Organize a project dissemination workshop and policy recommendations.
